Education Methods in Finland and Indonesia
Do you know the education method in Indonesia? How if we compare it with in Finland, the welfare state? Ya. Indonesia and Finland have different method of education. What the differences? The basic difference is in the way of teaching. In Finland, the teachers use the creative way which can attract the attention students and never give punishment to students. The teachers in Indonesia just use the basic way of teaching and sometimes they give punishment. Second, the character of teachers. Finland teachers use all of their ability to teach until the students can understand. Different in Indonesia, the teachers just to teach and don’t care whether students understand or not. The last is in the orientation. Finland take the process orientation. It refers to the collaboration of teachers and students in order to the students can understand and use it in real life. But, Indonesia use the result orientation. Student must understand in the end whatever the way. It affect them to cheat or use the wrong way to get good point. After we know the contrast of them, we can say that education methods in Finland is better than Indonesian. So, one day, I wish Indonesia can use the education methods of Finland to make this nation better.
